One of the ideal plants for a \r\n      cure of detox.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <h2>\r\n      Your detox and the Guggul: A powerful medicinal plant\r\n    <\/h2>\r\n    <p>\r\n      The guggul is a major medicinal plant of the Indian medicine to prevent \r\n      in a natural way (but how much effective) the cardiovascular risks which \r\n      involves a cholesterol excess.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      It acts by promoting the disincrustation, mobilisation and elimination \r\n      of cholesterol deposits that cover the arterial walls, an important <strong>DETOX<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;action.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      Known as the olibanum of India or the myrrh of India,<em>Commiphora wightii<\/em>&nbsp;&nbsp;is \r\n      better known by the name of its exudate, guggul.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      Popular throughout the Indian peninsula, guggul is used in Ayurvedic \r\n      medicine to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      The guggul is a small tree with thorny branches that grows in the \r\n      mountainous and semi-arid regions of India.Several times a year, its \r\n      trunk is cut and an oleoresin exudes naturally, solidifying on contact \r\n      with the air into opaque, brown concretions with a balsamic odour.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      This exudate of Commiphora wightii contains active components:\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <ul>\r\n      <li>\r\n        Eugenol\r\n      <\/li>\r\n      <li>\r\n        Cresol\r\n      <\/li>\r\n      <li>\r\n        Pinene\r\n      <\/li>\r\n      <li>\r\n        Cadinene\r\n      <\/li>\r\n      <li>\r\n        Myrrholic acid\r\n      <\/li>\r\n    <\/ul>\r\n    <h2>\r\n      Its major indication is therefore hypercholesterolemia.\r\n    <\/h2>\r\n    <p>\r\n      It is worth recalling here some notions about the <em>silent killer<\/em>&nbsp;(in \r\n      the United States, this is how cholesterol is called).\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      Indeed, cholesterol is the main culprit in cardiovascular accidents, \r\n      which are the leading cause of death in Western countries (source: WHO).\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      Silently, insidiously, cholesterol kills by building up pathogenic \r\n      aggregates called atheromatous plaques on the inner walls of the \r\n      arteries.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      At the beginning they are only lenticular pustules which settle in the \r\n      zones of arterial turbulence, curves, bifurcations.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      Then the cholesterol deposits increase in volume and reduce the calibre \r\n      of the aorta, the coronary and cerebral arteries, or those of the lower \r\n      limbs.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      Plaques form, which become calcified and harden the walls of the \r\n      arteries, which lose their flexibility and become fragile.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      They may rupture, causing internal bleeding (e.g.aortic aneurysm).\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      The reduction of the arterial lumen impedes the circulation of blood.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      The heart, in particular, is insufficiently supplied with blood, which \r\n      leads to angina pectoris, a worrying symptomatic phase.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      Then a clot forms which obstructs the flow of blood, causing the sudden \r\n      and often fatal accident: myocardial infarction.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      Not to mention strokes or serious complications of arteritis \r\n      (amputation).\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      The guggul is thus indicated in very precise cases:\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <ul>\r\n      <li>\r\n        Hypercholesterolemia (bad cholesterol LDH in excess)\r\n      <\/li>\r\n      <li>\r\n        Hypertriglyc\u00e9rid\u00e9mie\r\n      <\/li>\r\n      <li>\r\n        Hyperlipidaemia\r\n      <\/li>\r\n      <li>\r\n        Atherosclerosis\r\n      <\/li>\r\n      <li>\r\n        Angina (<em>angina pectoris<\/em>)\r\n      <\/li>\r\n      <li>\r\n        Prevention of heart attacks\r\n      <\/li>\r\n      <li>\r\n        Prevention of stroke\r\n      <\/li>\r\n      <li>\r\n        Prevention of arteritis\r\n      <\/li>\r\n    <\/ul>\r\n    <p>\r\n      Guggul should be taken even more if there are additional risk factors: \r\n      obesity, hypertension, smoking, stress, sedentary lifestyle.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      In all these cases, a <strong>DETOX&nbsp;<\/strong>is necessary.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n      &nbsp;\r\n    <\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Discover below all the benefits of guggul.
