Ce sont des exercices de sauts qui aident les sportifs \u00e0 renforcer leur capacit\u00e9 physique.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>De nos jours, quelques m\u00e9thodes d\u2019entra\u00eenement, comme le crossfit, se basent sur la pliom\u00e9trie. Mais elle tient aussi une place importante dans la pr\u00e9paration physique des athl\u00e8tes. En effet, la pliom\u00e9trie commence \u00e0 se faire conna\u00eetre et s\u2019int\u00e8gre dans les techniques de pr\u00e9paration de plusieurs disciplines sportives. La raison\u00a0? La plupart des sports requi\u00e8rent la vitesse, l\u2019explosivit\u00e9 et la force.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Pour assumer les exigences des diff\u00e9rentes disciplines sportives, la pliom\u00e9trie ne se limite plus aux sauts. Elle englobe aussi les sprints et les exercices de musculation.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>La pliom\u00e9trie se base sur deux \u00e9l\u00e9ments principaux\u00a0:<\/p><p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 le r\u00e9flexe myotatique,<\/p><p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 l\u2019\u00e9lasticit\u00e9 des muscles.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h3>Le r\u00e9flexe myotatique<\/h3><p>Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une contraction musculaire br\u00e8ve r\u00e9sultant de son<em>\u00a0 <\/em>propre \u00e9tirement. Pour assurer le dynamisme musculaire, un tel r\u00e9flexe se produit constamment dans notre corps. Lorsqu\u2019on marche par exemple, le r\u00e9flexe myotatique se produit automatiquement \u00e0 chaque pas. Il contracte successivement les muscles de la jambe, mais aussi les autres muscles. Ce qui nous donne la possibilit\u00e9 de nous maintenir debout et de rester droit.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Pour tester le r\u00e9flexe myotatique, le m\u00e9decin donne un bref coup de marteau sur le genou. Normalement, ce coup doit engendrer un coup de pied involontaire. En fait, ce test atteste que les nerfs et les tendons ne sont pas atteints suite \u00e0 un choc.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h3>L\u2019\u00e9lasticit\u00e9 des muscles<\/h3><p>Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s principales des muscles. Il se d\u00e9finit comme l\u2019aptitude des muscles \u00e0 s\u2019\u00e9tirer, puis \u00e0 reprendre leur taille initiale. C\u2019est un mouvement antagoniste \u00e0 la contraction musculaire. Pour cette derni\u00e8re, il est question de raccourcissement et de r\u00e9tr\u00e9cissement du muscle. N\u00e9anmoins, les deux sont ins\u00e9parables. Concr\u00e8tement, il y a toujours un muscle antagoniste qui contre le mouvement du muscle agoniste.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>L\u2019exemple le plus \u00e9vident est le mouvement des muscles lorsque vous faites des pompes. Pendant la mont\u00e9e, les triceps se contractent. En r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 cette action, les biceps s\u2019\u00e9tirent.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Plus le degr\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9lasticit\u00e9 de votre muscle est \u00e9lev\u00e9, plus vous acqu\u00e9rez en souplesse, donc en performances sportives. En effet, lorsqu\u2019un muscle s\u2019\u00e9tire davantage, cela entra\u00eene une contraction \u00e9quivalente et un d\u00e9veloppement de la force musculaire plus \u00e9lev\u00e9.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00c0 titre d\u2019illustration, pendant l\u2019exercice de d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 couch\u00e9, une \u00e9lasticit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9e vous permet d\u2019abaisser la barre plus bas. Vous serez donc oblig\u00e9 de renforcer davantage vos pectoraux pour sur\u00e9lever la barre.
