Testosterone is a steroid hormone derived from cholesterol, from the androgen group. In mammals, testosterone is secreted mainly by the testicles of males. One also attributes to testosterone an antioxidant virtue which is at the ́origine of a good growth of the muscular mass far from the attacks of free radicals.
