Cardio For Fat Loss

Is cardio effective for fat loss?

Some exercisers believe that doing a physical exercise such as cardio is an ideal way of losing weight. This activity is convenient to increase energy expenditure. However, other people think that it is more effective to combine a good diet with weight training to cut more quickly.

Link between weight training, nutrition and cardio for cutting

Fat loss occurs naturally when a person reduces their calorie intake in relation to what they expend. In this case, cardio is not really necessary if a low-calorie diet is already in action.

It will just be necessary to normalise the calorie intake and to follow weight training without fail. However, it should be noted that when weight training is interrupted, it is necessary to reduce the calories consumed even more.

By the way, the combination of cardio with these activities is what is known as the foodie strategy. This means that by practising cardio at the same time as the other methods, the caloric diet is less strict than in the first case.

At this stage, cardio simply serves to ensure that the calories burned are higher than those consumed, but not to accelerate fat loss. Therefore, following a slightly higher calorie fast than in the previous case with weight training and cardio will give the same overall results.

What are the other benefits of doing cardio to cut?

For people who have water retention problems, cardio can be very effective in removing excess water from their bodies through sweating. Weight training already does this, but cardio is even better. There are also sweat belts that are suitable for increasing the perspiration of a specific part of the body, such as the abdominal muscles and the lower back, for example.

Cardio is also the perfect solution for people who have already done a cut and have even reached the stage where they hardly eat anything but have not yet reached their desired weight. In some cases, it is possible to go down to 1500 calories or even less and still not lose any weight.

By using these methods, this problem normally no longer arises. The implementation of regularly set calorie and carbohydrate rebounds ensures a good result. For others, an addition of cardio can be considered to adjust the difference between calorie intake and expenditure. It is useful for losing more fat. Other, narrower ways are available if these methods are not effective enough for cutting
