HOW TO BOOST YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM?

To begin with, in order to promote a good level of the body's immune system, there are simple acts to apply on a daily basis such as:

  • Eat a balanced diet
  • Slow down smoking
  • Have a good sleep
  • Regular physical activity
  • Manage stress levels

These all influence the quality of our body's immune response

To naturally boost the immune defences, think of antioxidants which by definition oppose oxidants, also called free radicals which are molecules that disrupt the functioning of our cells and weaken immunity and accelerate cellular aging.

WHAT ARE ANTIOXIDANTS FOUND IN?

  • Antioxidants are found in many of the foods we eat every day Vitamins (A,C,E,K) found in tuna, shrimp, chives, butter, cheese, vegetable oils, avocados, citrus fruits, . . .
  • Minerals (selenium, zinc) found in dried fruit, red meat, poultry, cheese
  • Carotenoids (lycopene, beta-carotene, lutein) found in some fruits and vegetables )
  • Amino acids (glutathione, glutamine. . . )> Polyphenols (phenolic acids, flavonoids, tannins) present in some fruits and vegetables, tea, coffee, chocolate. . . )
